Who am I?
Some communities who helped shape me:
We are all reflections of our surroundings. I reflect my childhood synagogue, which taught me how to care for the earth and my local community. I reflect my work as a Jewish outdoor educator in how I pray. I reflect Hebrew Union College, which taught me how to be a spiritual leader.
Where am I now:
As of July 2025/5785, I started working at Temple Emanuel in Denver. I am working alongside an amazing team in a beautiful city. If you’re ever in the area, pop by! I would love to introduce you to this city and congregation which I now call my home.
My musical journey:
I found my two main musical mediums in high school; percussion and voice. I have been training as a singer for over 15 years and picked up guitar along the way. I studied classical music in undergrad and have floated between classical and contemporary-style singing since then. I also started playing the darbuke and the hammered dulcimer during Covid. The hammered dulcimer, in particular, has embodied my American and Jewish roots in one beautiful instrument.
My joys in life:
I love making music, challah, and being outside as often as possible. I love seeing live art and tasting new (pescatarian) food. I love studying Jewish, and non-Jewish, texts. I love my family and I love my partner, Noa.
